How to Cook Minced Beef:
- Remove the minced beef from the packet and allow it to to get to room temperature before cooking.
- Place a pan over medium heat. Put a knob of butter or two tablespoons of oil in the pan and wait about 1 minute until the butter has melted or the oil smokes slightly.
- Add the beef to the pan, and then crush it with a spatula or wooden spoon.
- Keep stirring well until the meat is no longer pink but nicely brown in color.
Serving Tip: add mashed potato to make a nice cottage pie that just needs heating in the oven.
