It's ridiculously delicious and moist – you've just got to try it!
Ingredients
200gself-raising flour
150gplain yogurt
1 tspdried rosemary
olive oil
pinch of seasalt
500gminced beef
egg, separated
tbspbreadcrumbs
tspcinnamon
1small onion
1garlic clove, finely crushed and chopped
salt and black pepper to taste
satay skewers
Step by Step
1
Pre-heat your grill as you start making the flatbread.
2
Mix the self-raising flour with the yoghurt, rosemary and a pinch of salt, before kneading everything together until everything is blended together into a dough.
3
Divide the dough into 4 balls, flattening each one using the palm of your hand, and then place the 4 flatbreads near the edges of your grill before baking for 6-10 minutes, until they are crisp and ready to eat.
4
You can start on the Kofta in the meantime. Simply mix all of the ingredients in a big bowl - get stuck in and use your hands - and season with salt and pepper. Keep your sleeves rolled up and make the dough into small meatballs.
5
Thread these on to skewers and grill them until they turn golden brown in colour.
6
Once done, serve the Kofta meatballs on your flatbreads and add a side of fresh tomato salad or tzatziki sauce. Yum!
